When not cross-stitching or writing about myself in the royal we, I am also a scientist, reader, podcast listener, occasional binge-watcher (Nine-Nine!), and proud parent of one college kid and one rescue dog.
Marnie, Mascot and Chief Morale Officer
Hound/terrier/beagle/? mix whose interests include barking at trespassers (i.e. anyone who walks down our street), chasing squirrels and rabbits, and giving Mom mournful eyes whenever she spends too much time stitching instead of petting.
Safe Hands Rescue
Marnie was adopted through Safe Hands Rescue, which brings dogs up to Minnesota from overcrowded, high-euthanasia shelters in many states - Marnie is originally from Kentucky! If you’re within 60 miles of the Twin Cities and interested in fostering or adopting a dog, check them out.
